Description: Made of sheesham wood, it has nuts and bolts fitting with a tuning key. the sound is excellent. the left head has a permanent application of dholak masala, the right side is of goatskin framed in an iron ring. the playing surface has a thin layer of syahi[black masala] like tabla to produce a distinct sound.
